EXPERT APPRAISAL

Why have an expert appraisal or make an inventory?

SALES

During the course of an inventory, an expert indicates prices with reference to public sales.
He calculates a pre-sale estimate value expressed in high and low estimate values. Working in partnership with numerous auctioneers, our firm can rapidly place objects in an appropriate public auction.

INSURANCE CONTRACTS

For insurance assessment, estimation is based on "replacement value".
This value represents an estimated sales price, plus the margin of a professional dealer, from whom one would buy a similar object for replacement if original was either damaged or stolen.

INHERITANCE

The expert drawns up inheritance inventories for purpose of dividing estates for bequests.

BEQUESTS

In co-operation with museums, the firm advises and directs you should you wish to make a charitable donation (relinquishing inheritance rights by bequeathing works of art to the state).
